rambling update

Abigail is over a month old now! She is growing fast, but is smaller than the boys were at that age. She has some of the cutest little outfits to wear.

Dominic has started school through william finch again, this time doing a different way of learning and a different curriculum that I am much more happier with, and he's doing better with.

Jeremiah does school too but he's not registered anywhere. he is doing school with dominic and then doing his own level of phonics and math.

Theodore and Nathanael usually color or play during school time, but sometimes they do the activities with us also.

Dominic and Jeremiah are back at Awana, and Dominic is in the sparks this year instead of cubbies.

I am working in the nusery at church instead of teaching the tot's class. THe nursery is a lot easier..haha...

ABIGAIL GRACE WOODWORTH!!!

Hello again,

WELL I finally got one, after 4 wonderful handsome boys, I finally finally received a wonderful beautiful princess GIRL!!!!
Abigail Grace Woodworth was born on Sept 2nd at 4:20 AM weighing in at 7 pounds, and 19 inches long!
I won't bore you with the birth story, haha, but move on to our time at home. She's been dressed in pink and purple and wearing everything nice. She's going to be the most spoiled little girl in the world! haha.
Her brothers love her to pieces! She is such a doll. They are always asking to hold her, and they are wanting her to play with them as well. They do give her puppet shows and things like that. And she will even smile at them too. They say it's gas, but I think she's smiling!
She slept last night from 12-4am the longest span yet! She goes back to the doctor on Thursday, and we'll se how much she is growing and how her jaundice is doing.
We had church this morning, and she was very popular, everybody is soo excited (just like me) that we finally have a girl! This afternoon, well around 3pm we all went outside to play and she loves being outside. She was soo happy and content outside, well she's like that every place, haha
Next weekend, I hope to get my pictures up on the computer and put up a slideshow of her on my myspace page. www.myspace.com/childofgod4
Well, hope all is well with you all.

A new "school" year

We began our school year this week. WOOHOO. I still need to figure everything out legaly. However, we did start school. We might have to officially start school at a later date, but for now we have started school.

We are starting out with a unit on "all about me" which includes the 5 senses, manners, attitudes, contact info, emotions and feelings etc. The boys have been having fun with the experiments we have been doing.

We have continued on with our calendar, put up a number chart and story board, and this year we are going to do "100 days of school" and celebrate the 100th day of school!
We will also be doing more library trips also!

wow, it's May

It's been a long time since I have wrote a blog. So, I figured it was about time. We just got home from the park. Dominic and Jeremiah wrote their bikes, and I let Theodore ride Jeremiah's spiderman scooter. The park is only a couple blocks away. Anyways, I guess I should give an update on the boys!!

Dominic is 5.5 years old. He is rounding up his Kindergarten year in the william finch virtual charter school. He has had a year of struggles with their curriculum. So, next year we do plan on homeschooling again, but this time we are going to use our own curriculum and go independant. He does love being at home and learner, which is a double plus. We have studied bugs, insects, animals, jobs, restaurants, and he's gone into 1st grade math. I have found a phonics book that he really enjoys doing, so that has been good. He has become a good little helper around the house..woohoo.

Jeremiah just turned 4 a couple weeks ago. He has been learning school alongside his big brother, and has picked up on quite a few things himself. Like reading small words such as cat, hat etc. He however has turned into the "terrible 2's" a couple years late! He loves bugs, so we spend a lotof time learning about them. He is also very good with animals. I think he might be the one to get the first "pet" when he gets a little older. Perhaps a hampster or something. I'm thinking of putting him into headstart next year. So, that he can go out and play with other kids. But I'm just not sure yet.

Theodore is 2.5 years old. He is starting to talk more. And wanting his way too. He has started to pick on his baby brother. And get into things that he shouldn't. He loves to sit down and color while his big brothers are doing school. He really thinks that he is a big boy too. He has taken over his brothers spiderman scooter. Jeremiah got a scooter for his birthday. He didn't like it as much as I thought he would, but Theodore fell in love with it. So, Theodore uses it. Oh well, I don't mind, as long as it is being used!!! LOL

Nathanael is 1.5 years old. He really thinks that he is a big boy. He also tries to use the scooter. haha. He climbs up high too...and is quite scary when he does. He babbles a lot and thinks that he is talking. He does know a few words. "mom, mama, hot, out, WOW!, and his favorite word is NO!" LOL He has little curls, that I think we will just leave them, for ever and ever....LOL He has his own little personality, that is for sure. He has also started to "beat up" his older brother. LOL He's no longer putting up with being the "little" brother..haha. He has also started going around and kicking things! But he will also give you a great huge hug, and he loves to cuddle.

Baby 5 is due Aug 28, 2007. Really hoping for a girl here..LOL And the pregnancy is going very well. I'm starting to get the pregnant belly, and fell pregnant. My clothes are no longer fitting, and I'm going to have go buy me some new shorts. I go back to the midwive on May 15th. This pregnancy is going by soooo slowly!

Well, I guess that's about it.

IT's a new year!!!

This is the first place i"m really going to post this. Haven't really told many people yet! So, if your reading this before you told..sorry! Your time will come! anyhow, I thought I had gone a whole year, the year 2006 without being pregnant...well turns out that I was wrong..LOL. In December I ended up getting pregnant after all!! woohoo!

Hubby really wants a little girl...no he wants twin girls!!!! wow! I don't know if i'd be able to handle that one..haha, he'd defiantly need to help out even more then! haha.. I would be due at the end of August! I have taken 6 preg test so far, always just getting a faint line..well 3 i didn't get anything..LOL a invalid mark! But, with a faint line on the EPT brand really means that I am most likely pregnant..soooo, i'm going to become even more busy.

And to think I thought I was busy now, being a mom to 4 boys, Dominic 5, Jeremiah 3, Theodore 2, and Nathanael 1. Homeschooling Dominic kindergarten, and Jeremiah Preschool, while keeping house, doing errands, and teaching the other two toddler type of things..lol.
teaching a sunday day school class on top of that! all though i kind of managed to get a system down to where I can do the prep stuff pretty well, i think i might loose my patience during class more often.

the boys do go to awana on tues evenings, so i have been going to starbucks w/some other moms during that time, it is really fun. i am probably not supposed to drink caffiene very much while pregnant, I usually haven't! So, we shall see, i don't like the idea of ordering a coffee w/out the caffiene! I did enjoy going and getting the peppermint mocha coffee, but i think that is only around during the holidays.

Well, i think that is good enough for now!

Fort Bragg vacation

Fort Bragg DAY 1 (wednesday

We awoke at 5 in the morning. Hubby said he wanted an early start on our travels. I had spent the last week loading bags and getting most of the stuff ready, that way it would just have to be loaded into the van, we then loaded the van tuesday evenning after I got back from dropping Nathanael off at my mom's house. So, when we woke up all we had to do was the icecooler stuff and get dressed, sit and have coffee together and then get the boys dress and be off by 6am.
We had a great travel, it didn't take us long and we made it into Fort Bragg on half a tank of gas. We decided to stop of and eat at a cheaper restaurant and only had "fish and chips" the boys loved the fish.
Then we headed north on up to westport where our camping ground reservations were at. We got there at 1:30 pm. Got our campsite, and set up camp. Then I took the boys to the playground while hubby finished up.
Then headed off to the beach. THe boys LOVE the beach, playing in the sand and jumping the waves. Theodore loved it too.
All of our meat was still frozen..lol, but we ended up having bbq sloppy joes for dinner..lol and texas style beans. The boys went to bed early this night, that was good! haha
Jeremy said he wished we would have brought our dog zebo along. I was glad we didn't!!!

day 2 ( Thursday)
Rise and shine, the boys woke up at 6am. It could have been the bright sun..lol. It was still foggy out, it had been foggy since we arrived. We were hoping it would clear up, but by the end of the day it was still there...
We decided to go back into Fort Bragg today, we walked around the town and went into the stores. Jeremy bought a book at a book store, he really liked it. He read half of it while we were camping.
On the way back from Fort Bragg we also stopped at a beach on hwy 1, they had huge rocks that the boys and Jeremy climbed on. I video taped it and kept an eye on THeodore.
Then we went back and I let Jeremy sleep while I took the boys to the beach for awhile..theodore really needed a nap.
We brought along their little truck and they drove it through the sand, and built a castle for it to drive into.
We let the boys stay up later, but they still crashed pretty early.

day 3 (friday)
We woke up and had to do some laundry. One of our boys had thrown up all over where he was sleeping..yucky! So, we took some clothes and the sleeping bag up to the laundry area. The boys played with the animals in the petting zoo while I did the 2 loads of laundry. We figured we might as well do a load of clothes since we had to do the sleeping bag.
After that we went to the day area part of the beach. We brought soda and water and snacks and spent the rest of the day out on the beach. Enjoying the sun which finally decided to come out, and the water. I even took the boys on a hunt for caves. We found 2 very small ones, but I didn't want to venture off to far. I would have but it was high tide, so I figured I'd better not..haha. Jeremy stayed behind and kept an eye on Theodore.
They enjoyed it a lot. We got back and had a late dinner, and then the boys again fell right to sleep!!

day 4 (saturday)
This was our last full day, so we figured we'd tried to make it easy day. Jeremy however did want to drive into Fort bragg and see the seals and other things. SO we did that first..and came back.
Then we packed up the cooler and really spent the rest of the day on the beach. We took the boys some toys with them as well. I made a house for the boys to put their toys in..lol a rock house. They ended up burying their toys and when it was time to leave the beach that day...well... we couldn't find them all. SO, I looked on the camcorder where I had recorded them playing and found the area where they had hid them..lol...
We also buried Jeremiah in the sand, where only his head was out. He enjoyed it.
Dominic became a pro at running away from the waves too. Jeremiah got knocked down on 1 and scared him so it took awhile for him to become adjusted to the waves again..but he overcame. Theodore liked the sand..he didn't want to go near the water!! only in daddies hands...lol
We went back to the camp and ate dinner and then came back to watch the sunset. We came back, got the boys washed up in the showers, made a huge fire and had a blow out night! It was great. The boys stayed up for a little while, had some "smores" and went to bed.
I think it was around 11 when they finally went to bed, and we went around midnight or so. Everybody else was up that last also.

Day 5 (sunday)
Today is the day that we head back. Jeremiah still woke up at the crack of dawn, but the other two slept it pretty late..well til 9am. I got up with him and entertained him until the rest got up. We had cinamon rolls for breakfast, then we started packing up.
It didn't take us very long to pack up, and we took back about half the stuff we brought. We decided on the way home to go a different route. So we headed north and stopped at the drive thru the tree. The boys left going through the tree.
Jeremy drove through it first by himself, then took the boys through and finally we all went through on the way out. When the boys went through they all piled up in the front seat. That way they could have an up front view. They enjoyed it.
I bought a few things in the gift shop..haha like 2 big pencils for the boys.
We stopped at willits on the way out to get something to eat. We decided on Pizza, it turned out to be YUCKY pizza and tasted worse that chucky cheese pizza. yuck... the people there weren't to friendly either..we should have waited..lol but the boys were hungry.
Theodore ended up throwing up a few times on the way home. We had given Dominic medicine so he wouldn't, now we will have to make sure to give them both some. Dominic had thrown up on the way home from my mom's house the other day too, but he's famous for getting carsick.
We stopped by at a gas station to clean up the mess, and let the boys take a rest from driving. We also ended up stopping at a farmer's market fruit stand thing. The things were expensive though...so we didn't get anything.
Finally arriving home at around 6pm. My mom called right after we got in the door and asked us if we'd like her to bring the baby home. We Nathanael was home about an hour later. one less trip that i'd have to take...
