She has some of the cutest little outfits to wear.

Dominic has started school through william finch again, this time doing a different way of learning and a different curriculum that I am much more happier with, and he's doing better with.

Jeremiah does school too but he's not registered anywhere. he is doing school with dominic and then doing his own level of phonics and math.

Theodore and Nathanael usually color or play during school time, but sometimes they do the activities with us also.

Dominic and Jeremiah are back at Awana, and Dominic is in the sparks this year instead of cubbies.

I am working in the nusery at church instead of teaching the tot's class. She's been dressed in pink and purple and wearing everything nice. She's going to be the most spoiled little girl in the world! haha.
Her brothers love her to pieces! She is such a doll. They are always asking to hold her, and they are wanting her to play with them as well. They do give her puppet shows and things like that. And she will even smile at them too. They say it's gas, but I think she's smiling!
She slept last night from 12-4am the longest span yet! She goes back to the doctor on Thursday, and we'll se how much she is growing and how her jaundice is doing.
We had church this morning, and she was very popular, everybody is soo excited (just like me) that we finally have a girl! This afternoon, well around 3pm we all went outside to play and she loves being outside. She was soo happy and content outside, well she's like that every place, haha
Next weekend, I hope to get my pictures up on the computer and put up a slideshow of her on my myspace page. www.myspace.com/childofgod4
Well, hope all is well with you all.

Roban

A new "school" year

We began our school year this week. WOOHOO. I still need to figure everything out legaly. However, we did start school. We might have to officially start school at a later date, but for now we have started school.

We are starting out with a unit on "all about me" which includes the 5 senses, manners, attitudes, contact info, emotions and feelings etc. The boys have been having fun with the experiments we have been doing.

We have continued on with our calendar, put up a number chart and story board, and this year we are going to do "100 days of school" and celebrate the 100th day of school!
We will also be doing more library trips also!

wow, it's May

It's been a long time since I have wrote a blog. So, I figured it was about time. We just got home from the park. Dominic and Jeremiah wrote their bikes, and I let Theodore ride Jeremiah's spiderman scooter. The park is only a couple blocks away. Anyways, I guess I should give an update on the boys!!

Dominic is 5.5 years old. He is rounding up his Kindergarten year in the william finch virtual charter school. He has had a year of struggles with their curriculum. So, next year we do plan on homeschooling again, but this time we are going to use our own curriculum and go independant. He does love being at home and learner, which is a double plus. We have studied bugs, insects, animals, jobs, restaurants, and he's gone into 1st grade math. I have found a phonics book that he really enjoys doing, so that has been good. He has become a good little helper around the house..woohoo.

Jeremiah just turned 4 a couple weeks ago. He has been learning school alongside his big brother, and has picked up on quite a few things himself. Like reading small words such as cat, hat etc. He however has turned into the "terrible 2's" a couple years late! He loves bugs, so we spend a lotof time learning about them. He is also very good with animals. I think he might be the one to get the first "pet" when he gets a little older. Perhaps a hampster or something. I'm thinking of putting him into headstart next year. So, that he can go out and play with other kids. But I'm just not sure yet.

Theodore is 2.5 years old. He is starting to talk more. And wanting his way too. He has started to pick on his baby brother. And get into things that he shouldn't. He loves to sit down and color while his big brothers are doing school. He really thinks that he is a big boy too. He has taken over his brothers spiderman scooter. Jeremiah got a scooter for his birthday. He didn't like it as much as I thought he would, but Theodore fell in love with it. So, Theodore uses it. Oh well, I don't mind, as long as it is being used!!! LOL

Nathanael is 1.5 years old. He really thinks that he is a big boy. He also tries to use the scooter. haha. He climbs up high too...and is quite scary when he does. He babbles a lot and thinks that he is talking. He does know a few words. "mom, mama, hot, out, WOW!, and his favorite word is NO!" LOL He has little curls, that I think we will just leave them, for ever and ever....LOL He has his own little personality, that is for sure. He has also started to "beat up" his older brother. LOL He's no longer putting up with being the "little" brother..haha. He has also started going around and kicking things! But he will also give you a great huge hug, and he loves to cuddle.

Baby 5 is due Aug 28, 2007. Really hoping for a girl here..LOL And the pregnancy is going very well. I'm starting to get the pregnant belly, and fell pregnant. My clothes are no longer fitting, and I'm going to have go buy me some new shorts. I go back to the midwive on May 15th. This pregnancy is going by soooo slowly!

Well, I guess that's about it.
Roban

IT's a new year!!!

This is the first place i"m really going to post this. Haven't really told many people yet! So, if your reading this before you told..sorry! Your time will come! anyhow, I thought I had gone a whole year, the year 2006 without being pregnant...well turns out that I was wrong..LOL. In December I ended up getting pregnant after all!! woohoo!

Hubby really wants a little girl...no he wants twin girls!!!! wow! I don't know if i'd be able to handle that one..haha, he'd defiantly need to help out even more then! haha.. I would be due at the end of August! I have taken 6 preg test so far, always just getting a faint line..well 3 i didn't get anything..LOL a invalid mark! But, with a faint line on the EPT brand really means that I am most likely pregnant..soooo, i'm going to become even more busy.

And to think I thought I was busy now, being a mom to 4 boys, Dominic 5, Jeremiah 3, Theodore 2, and Nathanael 1. Homeschooling Dominic kindergarten, and Jeremiah Preschool, while keeping house, doing errands, and teaching the other two toddler type of things..lol.
teaching a sunday day school class on top of that! all though i kind of managed to get a system down to where I can do the prep stuff pretty well, i think i might loose my patience during class more often.

the boys do go to awana on tues evenings, so i have been going to starbucks w/some other moms during that time, it is really fun. i am probably not supposed to drink caffiene very much while pregnant, I usually haven't! So, we shall see, i don't like the idea of ordering a coffee w/out the caffiene! I did enjoy going and getting the peppermint mocha coffee, but i think that is only around during the holidays.

Well, i think that is good enough for now!
Roban

Fort Bragg vacation

Fort Bragg DAY 1 (wednesday

We awoke at 5 in the morning. Hubby said he wanted an early start on our travels. I had spent the last week loading bags and getting most of the stuff ready, that way it would just have to be loaded into the van, we then loaded the van tuesday evenning after I got back from dropping Nathanael off at my mom's house. So, when we woke up all we had to do was the icecooler stuff and get dressed, sit and have coffee together and then get the boys dress and be off by 6am.
We had a great travel, it didn't take us long and we made it into Fort Bragg on half a tank of gas. We decided to stop of and eat at a cheaper restaurant and only had "fish and chips" the boys loved the fish.
Then we headed north on up to westport where our camping ground reservations were at. We got there at 1:30 pm. Got our campsite, and set up camp. Then I took the boys to the playground while hubby finished up.
Then headed off to the beach. THe boys LOVE the beach, playing in the sand and jumping the waves. Theodore loved it too.
All of our meat was still frozen..lol, but we ended up having bbq sloppy joes for dinner..lol and texas style beans. The boys went to bed early this night, that was good! haha
Jeremy said he wished we would have brought our dog zebo along. I was glad we didn't!!!

day 2 ( Thursday)
Rise and shine, the boys woke up at 6am. It could have been the bright sun..lol. It was still foggy out, it had been foggy since we arrived. We were hoping it would clear up, but by the end of the day it was still there...
We decided to go back into Fort Bragg today, we walked around the town and went into the stores. Jeremy bought a book at a book store, he really liked it. He read half of it while we were camping.
On the way back from Fort Bragg we also stopped at a beach on hwy 1, they had huge rocks that the boys and Jeremy climbed on. I video taped it and kept an eye on THeodore.
Then we went back and I let Jeremy sleep while I took the boys to the beach for awhile..theodore really needed a nap.
We brought along their little truck and they drove it through the sand, and built a castle for it to drive into.
We let the boys stay up later, but they still crashed pretty early.

day 3 (friday)
We woke up and had to do some laundry. One of our boys had thrown up all over where he was sleeping..yucky! So, we took some clothes and the sleeping bag up to the laundry area. The boys played with the animals in the petting zoo while I did the 2 loads of laundry. We figured we might as well do a load of clothes since we had to do the sleeping bag.
After that we went to the day area part of the beach. We brought soda and water and snacks and spent the rest of the day out on the beach. Enjoying the sun which finally decided to come out, and the water. I even took the boys on a hunt for caves. We found 2 very small ones, but I didn't want to venture off to far. I would have but it was high tide, so I figured I'd better not..haha. Jeremy stayed behind and kept an eye on Theodore.
They enjoyed it a lot. We got back and had a late dinner, and then the boys again fell right to sleep!!

day 4 (saturday)
This was our last full day, so we figured we'd tried to make it easy day. Jeremy however did want to drive into Fort bragg and see the seals and other things. SO we did that first..and came back.
Then we packed up the cooler and really spent the rest of the day on the beach. We took the boys some toys with them as well. I made a house for the boys to put their toys in..lol a rock house. They ended up burying their toys and when it was time to leave the beach that day...well... we couldn't find them all. SO, I looked on the camcorder where I had recorded them playing and found the area where they had hid them..lol...
We also buried Jeremiah in the sand, where only his head was out. He enjoyed it.
Dominic became a pro at running away from the waves too. Jeremiah got knocked down on 1 and scared him so it took awhile for him to become adjusted to the waves again..but he overcame. Theodore liked the sand..he didn't want to go near the water!! only in daddies hands...lol
We went back to the camp and ate dinner and then came back to watch the sunset. We came back, got the boys washed up in the showers, made a huge fire and had a blow out night! It was great. The boys stayed up for a little while, had some "smores" and went to bed.
I think it was around 11 when they finally went to bed, and we went around midnight or so. Everybody else was up that last also.

Day 5 (sunday)
Today is the day that we head back. Jeremiah still woke up at the crack of dawn, but the other two slept it pretty late..well til 9am. I got up with him and entertained him until the rest got up. We had cinamon rolls for breakfast, then we started packing up.
It didn't take us very long to pack up, and we took back about half the stuff we brought. We decided on the way home to go a different route. So we headed north and stopped at the drive thru the tree. The boys left going through the tree.
Jeremy drove through it first by himself, then took the boys through and finally we all went through on the way out. When the boys went through they all piled up in the front seat. That way they could have an up front view. They enjoyed it.
I bought a few things in the gift shop..haha like 2 big pencils for the boys.
We stopped at willits on the way out to get something to eat. We decided on Pizza, it turned out to be YUCKY pizza and tasted worse that chucky cheese pizza. yuck... the people there weren't to friendly either..we should have waited..lol but the boys were hungry.
Theodore ended up throwing up a few times on the way home. We had given Dominic medicine so he wouldn't, now we will have to make sure to give them both some. Dominic had thrown up on the way home from my mom's house the other day too, but he's famous for getting carsick.
We stopped by at a gas station to clean up the mess, and let the boys take a rest from driving. We also ended up stopping at a farmer's market fruit stand thing. The things were expensive though...so we didn't get anything.
Finally arriving home at around 6pm. My mom called right after we got in the door and asked us if we'd like her to bring the baby home. We Nathanael was home about an hour later. one less trip that i'd have to take...

Hi all

I"m trying to get my headline changed. Which ended up being only candy! argh. The boys wanted EGGS! Dominic ended up with 1 piece of candy..cause he wanted eggs. Jeremiah was ok with it, he got a lot because he loves candy! After that we went out to eat at Dennys. Came home cleaned up some, sent the boys out to play. Then we let them dye some easter eggs. They had fun with that. It came with some stuff so they could color on them to.

On saturday evening I read a book (designed for toddlers) to the boys that goes along with the resurrection eggs we have. Then we put them to bed. A couple hours after they went to bed we hid plastic easter eggs all over the house, some of them had candy in them, some did not. There was a package of 48 and then the left overs from last year.

When they woke up in the morning I was in the shower, so they ran in there and told me that they found eggs and CANDY! I sent them on telling them to go find more eggs. Hubby was awake when i got out. And they had a full pile of eggs and mouthes full of candy. We sat around for a little while, then decided we'd better get the boys ready to go to church.

We got to church at 9am for an Easter breakfast. It was all right, but it can be a bit difficult with 4 boys in tow. lol. The bible study started at 10, and our class pretty much had a fellowship type bible study. We had 1 question that the whole group talked about. The question was What day do you think is more important Easter Sunday or Good Friday? Then we went for the service. They start out with worshiping, at this point everybody is in the sanctuary, uncluding babies...and it's kind of hard for me to keep up with all 4 boys, even with hubby's help..so he ended up taking the 2 babies out. That's when Jeremiah (he's 2) started up being quite disobedient and actually saying he wanted to go to the nursery. Then Dominic said he had to go pee. argh..so i ended up taking those 2 out too..but not to the nursery. There is a bench in the fellowship hall that i make them sit at when they can't sit good in the church.
Anyhow, we waited for childrens church to start. They had an inside (it was raining) easter egg hunt for the kids. With a limit of finding 6 egg a piece. I had never been to one w/a limit and i thought it was quite nice. Jeremiah and Dominic are both in the childrens church. Jeremiah being younger (usually they start at age 4) but being very ready for the step up. Dominic being 4, but not quite ready for the step up..lol.
I stayed and helped my 2 with stoping at 6 eggs, dominic did great with this and so did Jeremiah!
Jeremy was in the nursery taking care of the baby Nathanael, that way the nursery workers could put on a egg hunt for the walker in the nursery. There is actually quite a lot of toddlers in there, and nathanael is the only infant. hehe. They put goldfish (crackers) in some of those eggs, and the little guys got smart, and would leave the eggs behind that they found empty in search for the ones with the goldfish in them..LOL
After both egg hunts were over we went in to see the rest of the message..then came home. Before we had left, but after the boys were in the van. Hubby ran in and put some easter baskets on their beds. SO when we got home, hubby sent them to their rooms...and they found their baskets.. and they loved them. lol
Then I cleaned up the livingroom floor Which I try to do less cleaning on sundays, but with 4 boys so young I can't do none..lol
We sat down and a did the resurrection eggs with them again, this time a lot longer and more into it. This week we will be spending more time with the eggs as well since Dominic is out of school this week.
I had Jeremy watch the boys while I snuck out to the backyard and hid the plastic eggs and the boiled eggs ( we can't hide boiled eggs for too long cause our dog likes to eat them..lol) about half hour after I came in we let the boys go outside to play with their new toys....that's when they found more eggs to find. Then we let them play outside for awhile longer while hubby took a nap. I brought the boys in and gave them a bath after awhile.
WHen he got up we ate dinner (corned beef and cabbage) let the boys wind down some and put them all to bed..which they were awake in bed for about an hour longer..lol. they had too much candy yesterday. lol

well that is about it..hehe
Roban

Shots

On Wednesday I took the boys to the doctor. Dominic was at school, so he didn't come. Jeremiah came as well, but he was just coming along for the ride. Nathanael and Theodore had to see the doctor for "checkups" and to get shots. Jeremy came as well, because I talked him into helping me with the boys while I was there.

They are all doing good and average with their heights, weight, etc Well Theodore is tall for his age, a bit underweight and has a bigger head..LOL Nathanael was right on the dots though..haha

They did pretty well. Theodore got his shots and cried, and cried, and cried.

Then came time for Nathanaels turn. He cried very hard..(no worse than Theodore)..and then...

Jeremiah started crying to! He was soo upset and mad at the nurse for making his baby cry! He thought the nurse was hurting him. He had to climb up on my lap and sit with me (Jeremy was helping nurse with nathanael and shots) he was sooo sad for Nathanael! But he got better!

you need to go night night

Last night Jeremy had a bible study. So after I got a few things done, and let the boys stay up later; i put them to bed. Then I went on the computer for awhile. Anyhow, Jeremiah saw me on the computer, and wanted to stay out, but he finally made it to sleep. I wasn't on the computer long until Jeremy got home.

This morning I woke up at 6amish and couldn't go back to sleep. The boys were all asleep, I was shocked! Anyhow, I decided I'd just go on the computer since they were all sleeping still. Jeremy had just went off to work.

About 7am, Jeremiah stumbled into my office/den room with a very stern look on his face. The said in a strict voice "Mommy you still on the computer?" and I said "yes mommy is on the computer" and he said even sterner/stricter " MOMMY you need to go night night!!!" I talked to him a little bit more and well he thought I had stayed up all night on the computer..lol

Theodore at church

Last sunday at church, the younger two were in the nursery. There are less kids in the nursery during the bible study, as the toddlers go to a toddler class. So it's usually just the younger babies. well 3 and under. Anyhow, there is another little boy that takes toys from the other kids. Which he is a toddler, so basicaly that's kinda what he's supposed to do..haha.

Anyhow, he came towards Theodore to take the toy from him. Well, Theodore handed it to him and started saying "Thank you thank you thank you" i'm glad he is learning his manners..haha but i think it's supposed to be the other way around..to cute!

Where he lives.

At the dinner table last night, Jeremy was asking Dominic what his full name was. I want to do something FUN today, after all it's saturday. Then it dawned on me....we should go to the snow. So I brought it up to hubby, and he said YES, lets go to the snow. It took us awhile to get the boys ready, and it even was aggrivating trying to get them ready. But we finally got them ready and out the door.

We decided to go to mineral, it's a bit further away, but it has a hill to slide down on. When we got there, I realized that we forget the little backpack. Which had the gloves and hats in it. So, hubby had to buy the boys new gloves. The hoods on their jackets worked well enough to keep their heads warm.

Hubby took the older two boys up the hill first. During this time I let Zebo our dog run around. I got the babies ready to go....By putting Theodores snow jacket (This covers his whole body instead of just his upper body) on. And put Nathanael in my snugli, put a jacket on myself that went around the snugli, and through a blanket over top of that. I got Zebo back into the van.

Then I went over to the bottom of the hill to see where hubby and the boys went. Once I found them, I headed in that direction. Which was easier than sounded, because you go through a walkway by motel buildins that lead up to where hubby was at. Once I got to the end up the cement I had to call for hubby to get Theodore so I could make it to where they were playing at.

Hubby had made the boys a little runway for them to slide on. It was the perfect size for them, and they were having lots of fun on it. He had to pack the snow down good for them, in order for it to work. There was a couple bumps for them to go over, and at the end of his runway there was a dip for them. They stopped when they reached the dip. So they didn't go all the way down. Then they dragged the little mini round sled thing back up and do it again. Dominic went the most times, but they did take turns.

Theodore pretty much sat in the snow the whole time. Until he got tired of that. Then hubby held him. We stayed for about an hour in the snow. Then the boys had enough..they were getting to cold themselves.

We got togo orders of hotcocoa and let the boys drink them. They were gone with in minutes...they gussled them down fast!!!

Then we drove the long way home.. 1.5 hours.

I was sooo glad that the boys had fun. The last couple times we went...they didn't. They kept whining they were cold. This time however they got over that fact..and had a blast!

Nathanael

Nathanael is 4 monthes old now. My little baby, he is growing before my very eyes. He sleeps through the night now, well on most nights he does. I'm hoping he doesn't get sick with the illness that Theodore had. He likes to swing, be cuddled, talked to, and go for walks. He likes to lay on his tummy to, but if he gets tired, he knows how to turn onto his back. He hasn't quite learned how to roll from back to tummy though. But he does kick his feet and make donuts around the livingroom floor. His hair is still dark though, i'm hoping it turns blond like the other boys did. He does have blue eyes though. Wow though, I can't believe he is already 4 monthes old and looking like an infant instead of a newborn, it seems like just yesterday that he was born! I try to cherrish these baby monthes, because once they learn how to talk, and walk you can see their independence, and it's kind of a sad thing.

Theodore

My little cuddle bug. He is now 15 monthes old. He has been able to walk since he was 9-10 monthes old, however didn't choose to be a walker until recently. Now he walks everywhere, well he's still in the wobbling stage..haha. He's been sick for the past week though, so that hasn't been a fun time! But he is finally getting better! But I think i'm going to keep him home from church tomorrow anyways. To be on the safe side, I wouldn't want another child getting sick, if he still had germs. He says words like mama and dada, nana, and Katrina..lol He has blond hair and blue eyes too! And he loves keeping up with his big brothers! And taking their things from them too! He is almost as big as Jeremiah too! He is growing much much much to fast for my comfort..haha! I'm waiting for him to be able to help me out around the house! haha

Jeremiah

He is 2 years old now. He will be 3 in April. He is such a talker, he will talk from the moment he wakes up til the moment he goes to bed. In fact if you count snoring as talking, he talks then too. He learns quickly from his brother! He has mastered the work on the preschool jumpstart, all though he doesn't have to coordination to use the mouse yet, so i do that part with him. But he knows the answers!!! He has the blondest hair and the bluest eyes, he is such a cutie pie. He has enjoyed Dominic being at school this year! He fights with Theodore some, but he gets along well with Nathanael so that is good! He has started going to a toddler class at church, that he enjoys going to! I am not sure if I am going to send him to preschool next year, I don't want his "sweetheartness" to be taken away, and i'm afraid of that happening, as that is what happened with Dominic. Oh well.. He loves helping around the house too, but on his own terms.

Dominic

He's 4 years old now! And what a big boy he is becoming! Potty trained, going to school. He'l be in kindergarten next year!!! He is growing before my very eyes! He has become quite the little guy too! He loves to help his brother do things. Except Jeremiah though, that's a different story! He loves his baby brother though. HE gets on the floor and tries to get him to roll over by showing him how. He can also do headstands and hand stands now. And he likes me to walk him like a wheel barrow! His favorite game is candyland, he even plays by himself, that way he can win. I bought him the jumpstart kindergarten game, because he mastered the preschool one, well he's mastered how to work the kindergarten one too, now he just needs to master the work on it..hehe. He loves to help me around the house too, as long as it's not in his bedroom!

WOW!!

I was sitting here thinking to myself. What can I do online? Then it dawned on me to write a blog! It's one of the hardest days for me. I have had a week of taking care of 4 ENERGETIC, needy, whiny boys..LOL and so i'm drained from that alone, all though i've been home all week, the house doesn't look it. Or does it??? It looked like a tornado had hit it this morning. Today I cleaned it, well half of it. I didn't do the office room or the boys' room or our bedroom. But I did do the kitchen (even mopped) livingroom (vacuumed) and the bathrooms even mopping..hehe. Spend an hour before Dominic went to school playing with them in the living room.

Every since I decided to devote time to Dominic before school, he has behaved better. And he enjoys playing too, especailly with mommy. I've been asking him about his days, which I have been doing since he started. He now answers with more than just "play outside" he will say " my play outside yellow bike go round and round" he is speech delayed, as you can see. He has a hard time with articulation. He is very smart, but he has a hard time getting things he wants to say out. He starts kindergarten next year!! wooooowwwzzzzzerrrrsss!!!

Jeremiah will be 3 in April, and he is such a talker!! HE talks and talks and talks and talks..sometimes I want him to be quiet!!! LOL He can go on and on and on and on, I'm thinking of putting him into preschool next year.

Theodore....my cute little cuddle bug. He's been sleeping very well in the bed this past couple weeks. He sleeps in Jeremiah's bed now. Until Nathanael sleeps through the night. Then he will go in the toddler bed in the other room again. He is starting to be a little man/toddler. He is 14 monthes old now! wow time sure does fly fly fly!!

Nathanael is starting to be awake more often! A lot more often at that! He is almost rolling over to, but not quite yet. He is wearing the 6 mo clothes and he is almost 3 monthes old. He loves watching his big brothers. It won't be too long until he's up playing with them!!! Oh my, it's sad to see baby growing up!!!

Rambles

As I'm sitting here, invisioning my rooms. The kitchen is slightly clean..the dishes are done..but everything else needs done...decluttering of the cabinets..floors needing mopped etc.
My living room is picked up..lol, but it is very cluttered..and probably a bit dusty! The windows have handprints on them, but hey at least I have windows right??? Our fish tank only has 1 fish in it, one of those 25 cent feeder fish, and a small sucker fish. It's quite nice too..cause it's easy work. To bad Theodore likes to unplug it's filter/heater etc..oh well.
Nathanael/Theodores room is clean though I cleaned that up this morning..right before coming on here...but the boys having been pulling ALL my boys off the shelves since I came in here..lol. They think it's FUN...hmmm...
Dominic/Jeremiah's room don't have toys because I took them all away, and they won't be getting any in there room for the next few days..because first they have to pick up their clothes from their dressers that they threw on the floor.
My room...IT"S CLEAN..what a wonder a clean room..woohoo doesn't stay that way..and I can honestly say it's the only room I mess up on my own...i'm too busy keeping the other rooms clean to bother with mine..haha.
This office room/den is..well full of books! The boys have thrown them off the shelves..oh well. Dominic is testing my every move with his every move!! Oh well, I guess I should declutter my books since they are already on the floor!
I really don't mind...how the back of my house looks..it's the livingroom that I put my focus on..for those unexpected visitors that I never get!!! LOL LOL
I usually spend my morning cleaning up..then the afternoon spending time with the boys..and then a quick clean right before i make dinner...lol But Dominic, he has gotten me soo aggrivated with him..i want nothing to do with him..LOL or so it seems!!! It doesn't help that Jeremiah and Theodore are going through the terrible 2's at the same time..while Dominic is going through what I call the "independent 4's" LOL oh well...they are only small once, and I shall cherrish them!!!
Anyhow, I figured I'd give you all a glimpse into my life..hehe...

Nathanael

Hubby got home from work at 6:30 monday evening. I had started dinner, and asked him to finish dinner and feed the boys. That I needed to run to the grocery store and pick up milk for breakfast. (we have cereal for breakfast, as it is easy..hehe, and i cook on occasion) We did have enough milk for breakfast, I think I also just wanted to "get out" of the house for a little bit. Anyways, he said sure, but to take Theodore since he was being cranky. So, I got Theodore ready and we went to the grocery store. I had 1 small contractions while getting Thedore ready, but shrugged it off, since I"d been having fake contractions for the last 4 weeks or so. Anyhow, at the store I had another contractions..a little pain but not too bad...shrugged it off again!!The next contraction came at the checkstand. No big deal...lol pain but not too bad..haha.I was DRIVING home from the grocery store (which is only a min drive away..lol ) and another came..little pain.Got home, told hubby to please bring in Theodore, and the grocerys. And when he got done unpacking the car, I told him that I think this is the real stuff. It was shortly after 8 at that time! The contractions were painful, but not too close together. i figured they'd just die down.Told hubby that he might as well pack the van with the stuff for the boys and baby. That it would at least be ready for when we decided to go to the hospital..even if it weren't that day..hehe.I jumped in the shower..hehe and got all the sweat off from the day. and he put the boys to bed (undressed) he wanted to get them "out of my hair" lol out of the way so that I could have those contractions w/out them there making them worse...lol. At 8:30 I told hubby to get the boys dressed that they will need pajamas on to go to my sister's house. So he asked me to get them (he doesn't know which clothes go with which boy..lol) so he got them dressed SLOWLY i might add!! Then he got them in the van..SLOWLY...lolAnd at a few minutes to 9 we finally made it in the van and headed towards chico. Hubby called the midwife to tell her that we were on the way and to be ready for us. I tried to call my sister, and couldn't get ahold of her! We tried calling over and over and over again. So, we deiced..oh well we can just take the boys to her house and get her truck (instead of her meeting us at the hospital and changing vehicles) and then go back to the hospital. But as we got closer, we realized that WASN"T going to happen. We didn't have time..it take awhile to get accrossed chico..lol. SO, when we hit into chico, it dawned on me to call Amber (who i don't really talk to anymore, but we did go to school together..and we are friends) and ask her to please meet us at the hospital, take our van with our boys to my sister's house. And that they could figure out what they wanted to do from there. I knew my sister was at home, but for some reason she wasn't answering her cell phone and she doesn't have a homephone. Well Amber showed up at the hospital a couple minutes later. She took the van and went to my sister's house.
~we went on in to the hospital and to the maternity wing. got into the room. I told the midwife that I usually don't have pain meds, and never have but this hurts..let me have some anyways..LOL It was hurting like it hurts at the VERY end with the other boys, but I was thinking that I just couldn't ALREADY be fully dialated it had only started labor like 2 hours ago or so! no way could I be at the end..she did ask me if I had the pushing urge and I said YES! So, she checked and sure enough I was fully dialated!!! So, she said do you want to try and squat for your next contraction? and i was thinking..you already want me to get up..i just got in the bed..it's hard to move...LOL but I said.......um sure. LOLso, before I went to squat I asked her if the water had broke, and she said "No, but it'll pop on the first push" and i'm thinking..not really cause they've always had to pop it..but I said OK LOLFirst push and well babyhead and water bag came out (unbroke!) and she had to pop the waterbag and then on the next contraction I pushed the baby out..and well I had the baby. So, my labor was from about 8:15pm to 9:49pm WOWZERS!
After the baby was born, and they cut the cord, and did the parent bonding stuff..lol they were headed to do the bath and we got a message saying that somebody had dropped off keys for us at the security desk. LOL in less time than it took for Amber to go to my sister's house and get the boys straightened out..lol and then for my sister and her to get back to the hospital I had already had the baby..and baby already be taken care of..hehe.
~all though I do have to say, I didn't even want to hold the baby after he was born!!! that sounds bad..but I didn't want to have anything to do with him..LOL i wanted to see him in hubby's hands..LOL but I didn't want to hold him. i just wanted to be alone!!! I was never like that with the other ones, maybe because the other ones took so long that I was glad for it to finally be over and that I could see them??? I don't know. but i do know that AFTER i got into the recovery room I wanted to hold him.
Oh and they kicked hubby out! LOl they made him go home that night because I was shareing a room with another lady. So, I got my baby all to myself that first night, and I was awake, I had a great awake though! Hubby went to the christian rehab place he used to work at.
The next day hubby stayed around for awhile, left and came back, and even brother up Dominic and Jeremiah to see me, and i didn't recognize them at first..they looked so HUGE!
The next night hubby went home so that he could go to work at 4am and get some accounts done.
ANYHOW!!!! I spent a good amount of time bonding with baby. hehe and the boys are doing well. I have started giving Theodore a sippy cup of apple juice when I feed the baby and Theodore is around. That way he sees that the sippy is better. LOL (he still has bottles himself, but he is down to 2, and is almost off of them) he did however get a sucky..LOL he has his old one that he has never used, that has elmo on it..lol and he likes to carry it with him, he doesn't use it, but has to have it with him..LOL it's kind of cute. Jeremiah says that new baby is good too. But he is now starting to have a better bond with Theodore so that is good!Dominic said that little baby was his and that Jeremiah can have Theodore now. He wants the little baby! LOL
Roban

Sunday School

Jeremiah 2, and Dominic 3, both go to sunday school class in the mornings. They both do very well now. Last Sunday they both got their memory verse stickers! Of course, she says the words first and then they copy her. But it's still great! I worked with Dominic tonight on his verse for tomorrow. He did great! I couldn't get Jeremiah to sit and be interested. I"m going to work on getting it into their daily lives. I will figure out a way. I know it can be done. It's just something "new" and I haven't put it into my schedule yet.

The first thing they do is say the pledge of allegience. Then they say one to the christian flag, and then to the bible. Then they get a short story. Then they do their verses. Then they get to color. Coloring is the boys' favorite part..haha. Jeremiah likes being there a lot better than Dominic does. But they both do great!

I have decided to let Dominic stay in the nursery during "jr church" though. He is old enough to be over there, but I figure one thing at a time. I think it's probably hard enough for him to be switching churches. Now he's got to adjust to being around the little kids in the morning sunday school class, which are for preschool/kindergartners. After he adjusts to being in that class. And then adjusts to the new baby..hehe and that the new baby gets to stay in the nursery even if he doesn't. THEN I will work on getting him to join in the "Jr church" which is ages 3 years through I think 6th grade, not sure..but I know there are older kids.
The nursery workers keep saying he's old enough, but I know that, that's isn't the reason I let him stay in the nursery. I figure one thing at a time. When he started going to the older class in the church in chico, welll we had been at that church for a long time! 3 years at that point. Dominic and I started going there when Dominic was about 6 weeks old! So he was very comfortable with the church.

I am so glad to see Dominic and Jeremiah in a sunday morning class though! That is great! I'm hoping that Jeremiah continues to do well in there. Which I'm sure he will.

Still pregnant

Being due two days ago, I was hoping to have had baby by now. But I'm still with child. Baby hasn't decided to makes it's entrance into the outside world yet. Oh well, all in God's good timing! Tomorrow is church. It will be nice to go to church. But then I get the "you haven't had that baby yet" comments..as if I could make baby come out..haha. Monday I have an appointment with Dominic's teachers. I hope that have the house straightened up by then. And Tuesday is my next midwife appt. They said that if I don't have the baby by then, that they are going to schedule some tests at the hospital in Chico (that is where I will deliver the baby at) and go from there. I know that they induce when you are two weeks past due. But I really don't want to wait that long..haha. I have often thought of a quick solution, but I"m against having an unneeded surgery!!! SO, I would NEVER opt for it!! Anyhow, wednesdays we go to the park in the morning and Thursday is Bible study. I"m trying to keep myself busy in the mean time while I wait for baby to arrive.

Today I even went on a long walk. We let this morning at around 9:30 and then didn't get home til 1pm. Hubby was working, so we left and got out of the house for awhile. We stopped at a couple yard sales too. We got a new walker and a "sit and spin" for the boys. They LOVE the sit and spin, but they keep fighting over it. THey also like the books I got them. Along the way on our walk, we stopped for some refreshments. Then I let Dominic ride in the stroller so that he could eat some cheetos too. Bad idea, giving them cheetos in my NEW stroller! haha they also shared a powerade.

Later on today, hubby decided to go to the races. That was a lot of fun too!! We walked around awhile there as well. We finally found a good place to sit too! The boys liked the races, but they didn't really want to watch all of them...haha. There was even a little play ground there, but it was more for older kids, so the boys couldn't do much. I brought along some suckers for them though, they enjoyed them. Baby Theodore did great too!

After the races, we went to Dennys for dinner! That was fun too. The boys did pretty well. They enjoyed their dino chicken nuggets, and their "teddy's in applesauce" lol those were kind of interesting. They had applesauce and then little graham cracker teddy bears that you put inside, and then the bears look like they are swimming, floating, or whatever. The steak there was very good too, and so was the shrimp. I even got me an "english toffee cappocino" which MIGHT be why I can't go to sleep!!! HAHA

Well, I did have a great day today. Last weekend was fun too, we went to a cornmaze! Then afterwards got some pumpkins. We let the boys pick out a pumpkin each.

But all my walking hasn't helped to have the baby!

Wow..

Only sent my last post a few minutes ago, and already have a comment..WOOHOO. Encourages me to write me..lol since i'm not writing for no reason..haha. So, here we go..my "funny" for the day. I decided to take Dominic (3.5) with me today to the grocery store. I had him get into his carseat, and as I was buckling him up he said sadly "daddy stay home, my zero (our new dogs name) stay home, my baby (our baby Theodore) stay home, BUT then he said happily Jeremiah stay home!! LOL he was sad to leave his daddy, dog and baby brother, but his younger brother (who is 2) he left happily..LOL i just thought it was funny.

I am hoping that Jeremiah develops a bond with baby 4. That would be great. Dominic and Theodore have a great bond. Jeremiah doesn't have that great of a bond with Dominic..or Theodore. Maybe baby 4 will be Jeremiah's "baby" LOL

long time....

It's been a long time since I have wrote. So, I figured I'd write. haha. My Dominic has been sick the last couple days, but he seemed to be feeling better today. So tomorrow we will see about going to school.

We got a new dog too. It was supposed to be for Dominic, but the dog has chosen me. Of ALL the people why me??? LOL I'm not an animal person. Not like i'm mean to them or anything, but I'm just not an animal lover..my hubby is. But the dog chose me!!! Am I supposed to learn a lesson through this dog liking me??? It is potty trained, so that is good. It is a low maintenance dog, that is good too. But it is lazy and doesn't like to play..that isn't good..lol cause Dominic wants it to play more. BUt when it does play it makes both boys happy, especailly Jeremiah. Who just laughs and laughs at it..lol.

Baby is almost walking. Well he walks along things..even the wall!!! He is soo funny and such a happy little boy. So happy, that when he is crying you know w/out a doubt that there is something wrong with him.

I'm 35 wks preg now!! wow. I guess time does fly afterwards..LOL but it has gone by pretty slowly. Of course this time around I'm not 100 percent ready to have this baby. 4 babies in 4 years..WOW!!! Never ever thought i'd go that route. but I did.

Anyhow, hope to write more in here, more often..lol.

A funny.

The other day, Dominic was talking to his daddy. ANd daddy said, "yeah, but daddy doesn't have a baby in his tummy" and then Dominic goes "I have small tummy, and baby in my tummy!" LOL He is soo funny sometimes!

TGIF

WOOHOO it's Friday!!!!

Dh does have to work tomorrow though. That's no fun, for him or me!! I have some cleaning I have to do tomorrow though, so i'm going to do that while he's at work. Then the boys and I will head outside to play for awhile!

Jeremy brought a turtle home yesterday from work. we had it inside for awhile, then let it go in our backyard. I didn't see it out today, but hopefully it is sticking around. Maybe under our deck, under the shed, or perhaps it went into our garage. But it's a smart little guy so maybe it got out of our backyard. HAHA.

I have had a hard week. From the boys getting into cat food, baby oil, and also yucky getting poop all over their bedroom! Their behavior has also been a little on the cranky side too. It's probably the heat! It has been pretty hot here.

Jeremiah has had a slip back on the toilet training. Dominic showed a little progress, but then slid back again!! Theodore is now walking along the furniture, last weekend he couldn't even stand with the furniture and now he is walking along it!!! He is sure growing fast.

Next week I am going in for an ultrasound to see about the kidney on the baby 4. That appointment is on thursday! On Friday Theodore has another checkup. The week after I have an enrollment appt. for Dominic to enter preschool. Aghh, i'm not all to thrilled about that, but oh well. It probably needs to be done..not sure...God will lead me in that direction..the best one for Dominic.

Well, I'm going to go now.

Today was the last day of Dominic's Vacation Bible School. He sure did have a lot of fun there once I left! But he wants me to stay, maybe he wants to "share" his fun with mom. And I defiantly wouldn't have minded staying if I didn't have 2 other little ones tagging along! He brought home lots of crafts that he had done throughout the week. And elephant and hippo and a lion too. And even praying hands, he told me what they were! He still calls all the bearded men Noah or Jesus, but he likes to stick with Noah. I'm not sure but he loves the name Noah. I've told him quite a few different stories with other people, but he insists that they are all Noah.

I made him up some flashcards today. With the numbers 0-6 on them. He still can't count, but he can recognize the numbers 0,1,3,5 and sometimes 6. He has a hard time with the number 4, and 2. He will put up 4 fingers, but he never remembers the name of the number. I think it's a good start though. I had just been working on him counting, and he never caught on. Well he doesn't talk much, and he's more of a visual learner. SO a couple weeks ago I figured I'd work on the flashcards that we have. Ones that came in the mail. But they had a lot of big numbers..lol so I figured I"d just make up my own. Also he was more interested in the pictures on the other cards. now he just has numbers..hehe. We will work on counting later. I don't think it will matter in 10 years from now if he learns what numbers are what before he learns to count. hehe. He was having so much fun with those, he asked for "letter" cards. So, I quickly made him letter ones too. I made A-G. He knows the letter A. When we are walking down the street he can pick out the difference between a letter and a number! He was wanting to use his fingers when we were doing his letters, after all we were using fingers with numbers. SO I'm thinking about teaching him sign language while I teach him his letters any "comments' on that one???

Jeremiah was sitting with use while we were doing the flashcards, and he said the number 1 and 2 correctly. SO I think he might just know those 2 numbers. We'll see!! He is have a back track on potty training though, so that isn't good! He is back to pooping in his diapers! Encouragement!!! hehe. He has turned into a whinny little boy, who whines about everything! Is it his age maybe?? Dominic never went through this..but he whines about every little thing!!!

Theodore is starting to "kneal" with the furniture. Almost a stand but he is on his knees. Wow, at 7 monthes..my other 2 did this a lot later on. He is a professional crawler and everything now! Eats well too. He doesn't like the runny babyfood anymore he wants "solid" solids hehe. And he says a few words, and roars at the boys, and meows at the cat!!! He surprises me everyday. But he also gets bumps on his head that I feel awful about, he runs into things while he is crawling. Or he'll lift his head up to reach up onto the furniture and hit his head..and I just feel so bad. The other boys didn't get mobile at all until 10 monthes or later. Jeremiah was later!!! Jeremiah is following Dominic's foot steps though, and trying to "stall" Theodore..hehe. It is odd seeing my 7 month old already "clearing" off the bottom shelf on the entertainment center, and well "clearing" off anything that comes in his reach. And emptying the laundry baskets etc. Tonight at dinner, he even crawled in there (right before we were going to get him into his high chair) and opened up a door, and was throwing stuff out of the bottom cabinet!! LOL
Anyhow, that is good for tonight! Let me know in a "comment" if there is any more you'd like me to talk about....hehe any particular thing of interest.

My boys

Today I will type up my blog and then title it..hehe. I will go ahead and type away..and see if it comes out right..lol. I got a little confused. Do i push "new blog" or "new post" LOL HAHA My boys are such silly little feellows. J eremiah has back tracked on his potty training..that's too bad, and I was soo happy that he was succeeding so well. Theodore is now eating harder solid foods. ANd Dominic will he asked to read his Bible for the first time the other day!! That was amazing to me. He had never asked to read it before. And it's not like i read it regularly in front of him either. But I have started to do so. We read our bibles together now.

Next year Dominic should be starting preschool! It isn't exactly what i wanted. But it will work! He is very behind on his speech, and so hubby would feel better if he goes. I think he might find some friends there too. Besides they do a lot of playing in headstart. And he sure does love to play!!

Jeremiah is a funny little guy too. He has learnt how to play a game called "honk" where you squeeze his nose and he says "honk" or he squeezes your nose and you say "honk". But he kept scratching me with his fingers so i told him my honker was broke haha..lol. but when I am in the mood to play.. hehe I tell him it is fixed..haha. He also talks a lot too..he can talk up a storm. not always in english though! s ometimes it is in his baby language..lol.

Theodore is almost crawling the correct way now, instead of his ninja crawl. hehe. And it's neat to watch him. Sometimes he gets up on all 4's like a dog. That is cute. He is also starting to get into the sitting position all on his own. He loves his new wagon wheel treats I bought him. But I had to tell his brothers (who really wanted some) that they were for baby. And if they touched them, that they wouldn't be able to eat cookies..lol. I don't want them wasting them, as they are kind of expensive!

Anyhow, now it's time to see if it worked!! OH, and by the way it didn't work. LOL i made 2 blogs..and well i only want one! so i retyped this and put it in the other blog..haha..lol

first blog

Well, as I was checking through my email, I stumbled accrossed somebody who had sent me their blog. And I read their blog, and was amazed by the testimony it shared. So, I decided that I wanted to leave a comment, but in order to do so I had to create an account. LOL so I did, and then I decided I might as well become a blogger also!! So here I am a blogger!!

I have 3 sons, they are very real true blessings to me. My oldest is Dominic, he is 3 years old. A very strong willed child, that loves to test the boundaries. He is teaching me a lot, and God is working on me a lot through raising Dominic. He isn't potty trained yet, but he is really bright. He knows all of his colors, basic shapes, he can match things up, he knows when things are round, and he can spot out the number 3 and 5. I can tell me how old he is, his 2 brothers, and mommy and daddy.

Next is Jeremiah, he is a little over 2 years old. He is my energetic and usually happy boy. But if he is upset..hold your ears!! He is almost potty trained and I am soo happy about that!! He is a doer and loves to stay on the move. He loves to mimic what everybody else is saying, and does so very well, now when daddy comes home he says "hi hon" LOL he is totally blond and very cute!

My baby is Theodore, wow is he a trooper. He is 6 monthes old, already crawling!! And already getting into stuff!! He loves to follow his big brothers around. And if he is up before they are, he will crawl to the back of the house to their room, and wake them up!! LOL Most of the time my big boys end up on the floor, and so all he has to do is pull their hair..LOL it is pretty cute, and I watch and follow him the whole way..wouldn't want him to hurt himself!! He only has peach hair right now and looks very cute!

Then I am preggo with my true blessing number 4, and due in October of 2005. Will let you know more about this blessing later on. I think I have wrote enough for now!
